- Facilitate new course/ module/ posting/ programme development.
- Address Facilitate the Academic Office on implementing the approved curriculum changes.
- Monitor and evaluate the curriculum and assessment, and their implementation.
- Address any forthcoming issues raise in relation to the curriculum & assessment, and their implementation.
- Ensure constructive alignment of the curriculum is met by facilitating blueprinting/mapping process.
- Conduct the analysis of examination results.
- Facilitate the faculty vetting and standard setting session.
- Monitor and evaluate PBL & ECE module.
Faculty Development Unit
- Coordinate and organize training sessions/workshops for the enhancement of teaching-learning skills among faculty members.
- Coordinate and organize training sessions/workshops on the development and evaluation of curriculum.
- Coordinate and organize training sessions/workshops on improving the strategies and techniques of assessment.
- Coordinate and organize training sessions/workshops on the exposure and enhancement of research and innovation in medical education.
- Coordinate and organize training sessions/workshops on student development and involvement in learning.
- Coordinate and organize training sessions/workshops on personal and professional development.
- Facilitate student development programme under department (Student Mixtapes/Podcast & Neocardia).
- Ensure proper documentation, feedback and evaluation of each training session/workshop/seminar.
Clinical Simulation Centre
- Promote the use of clinical simulations as part of teaching-learning activities in curriculum.
- Provide services of clinical simulations in teaching-learning activities.
- Facilitate the module development that utilises clinical simulation.
- Ensure proper documentation and inventory system for clinical simulation centre.
Research, Innovation & Technology Unit
- Promote and encourage the use of technology in teaching-learning aided materials to equip students with state-of-the-art teaching-learning modalities.
- Collaborate with clinical simulation unit in improving teaching-learning innovations in faculty.
- Promote medical education research within and across the faculty members.
- Facilitate the design of medical education research.
- Facilitate the collaboration and networking for medical education research (including innovations in teaching-learning) among faculty members, national and international medical education researchers.
- Provide the designing and photography services for the faculty.
- To provide consultation and design of multimedia product for teaching learning purposes.
- Manage the usage of audio-visual suite and smart classroom for faculty.
- Facilitate the printing services for any printed/online materials of the faculty.
