UiTM Students’ Surgical Skills

UiTM Students Surgical Skills Association (U.S.S.A) is an organization founded on the initiative of lecturers and the department of surgical science and represented by medical students from UiTM Sungai Buloh and Selayang Campuses using the concept of teaching, learning, skills development and self -confidence approaches. This organization was established in August 2019 under the supervision of the Faculty of Medicine UiTM.
1. Leading the development of the potential of medical students to produce quality physicians.
2. Expand the scope of medical students in the field of surgery.
3. Produce synergistic cooperation among medical students in the practice of surgical knowledge.
1. Improve the skills and knowledge of medical students in the field of surgery.
2. Intensify exposure to the field of surgery among medical students.
3. Empowering the awareness of medical students in the world of surgery.
4. Provide a platform for medical students to exchange views on the field of medicine.
5. Develop USSA alumni relationships in the medical world.

1. To provide a platform for surgical science exposure for pre-clinical and clinical year students
2. To cultivate students ’enthusiasm and interest in surgery
3. To develop and improve surgical skills and knowledge for clinical application

1 Webinar & Monthly Video The webinar will be held in groups of Buddies 1-6 on a monthly basis, at the same time, they will also make a video on the topic to be uploaded to our social media.
