ACADEMIC AFFAIRS

The Academic Affairs Division manages all academic affairs of the university.
BHEA is placed under the office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and International). It has two (2) Academic Directors and one Chief Deputy Registrar:
  • Director of Curriculum Affairs
  • Director of Academic Development
  • Chief Deputy Registrar
  • The Directors are aided by six (6) Academic Heads overseeing the wide spectrum of core activities in BHEA:
    • Head of Academic Development
    • Head of Academic Operations Management
    • Head of Academic Management
    • Head of Academic Curriculum
    • Head of Academic Accreditation and Digitization
    • Head of Academic Assessment and Evaluation
BHEA now manages academic matters of 27 faculties and 4 academic centres comprising 526 programmes at the main campus and 35 state, branch and satellite campuses nation wide.

STUDENT AFFAIRS

The Students Affairs Division (Bahagian Hal Ehwal Pelajar – BHEP) is the core for students’ administration and management for the entire university. BHEP was established to perform the tasks, responsibilities, and functions as stated in the University Act 173 and 174 since 1976, and the amendments made under the jurisdiction of the Vice Chancellor.
The BHEP serves two main functions: to promote the development and leadership qualities of students, as well as providing students’ facilities and services.

INSTITUTE OF POSTGRADUATE STUDIES

In striving to raise the levels of professional graduate education, it is the Institute of Graduate Studies' (IPSis) mission to nurture the creation of a graduate learning community by providing educational opportunities that would help to push its frontiers for societal well-being.

IPSis operates as the nerve-centre of graduate-level education in the institution and is responsible for the implementation and management of overall administration. It coordinates and formulates policies on admission and academic regulations, as well as provides support to facilitate research and learning among postgraduate students.

OFFICE OF INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS

Office of International Affairs (OIA) is a department responsible in managing the internationalization affairs of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). In line with the university’s aspiration in putting UiTM on the world map, OIA plays a major role in ensuring the effective implementation of university’s internationalization strategies. The department’s main function is to manage collaboration at international level and coordinate visit from international delegates. OIA have three key roles and functions namely networking, engagement and collaboration.

INSTITUTE OF CONTINUING EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL STUDIES

As one of the Malaysian leading providers of educational courses, we are committed in meeting the learning needs of adult learners of Bumiputera of all stages of life across a diverse range of interests. The centre started playing its major role in educating adult learners dated back from 1973 when UiTM (previously known as ITM) started venturing into off-campus educational programs.
