The History
Centre for Translational Research and Epidemiology (CenTRE) was previously known as Clinical Trial Centre (CTC). It was located at the 1st floor of UiTM Health Care Centre, Shah Alam Campus and started its operation in November 2004.
CTC has conducted several health screening campaigns and programmes for UiTM staff Shah Alam Campus:
9th October 2004 : Complex Science & Technology Foyer
24-25th November 2004 : UiTM Health Care Centre
23rd September 2006 : Complex Science & Technology Tower B
3rd Mac 2007 : Complex Science & Technology Foyer
Throughout 2009 via appointment : Every Thursday at Clinical Trial Centre (CTC)
CTC was re-brand as the Centre for Translational Research and Epidemiology (CenTRE) and re-located to Selayang and Sungai Buloh Campuses in January 2010.
CenTRE at Faculty of Medicine, Selayang Campus was relocated to Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah, UiTM Puncak Alam in June 2022
