This is a three-day instructor-led course that guides participants through a brief introduction on the importance of multivariable analysis in order to adjust for the confounding factors and consideration of interaction factors in medical and health science research. Analysis of the basic experimental study will also be discussed in the workshop.

Venue: Computer Laboratory 1, Faculty of Medicine, UiTM Sungai Buloh Campus

The participants will get 20 MMA CPD points and training hours (for UiTM staff only)

OBJECTIVES
1. to explore the importance of multivariable analysis in any clinical data.
2. to improve knowledge and analytical skill in scientific research using appropriate statistical analytic tools for multivariable analyses and their interpretation
3. to develop the associated factors and prediction model of certain research questions.
4. to analysis the data for the comparison of two or more means which apply in intervention study
