Objectives
- To provide a core facility for running experimental research projects targeting Neuroscience such as:

Institute of Medical Molecular Biothechnology (IMMB)
IMMB is a multidisciplinary institute for molecular research, open for lecturers from the medical faculty as well as other faculties within UiTM or other universities. IMMB is equipped with state of the art equipment, catering for research in genomics, proteomics and molecular cell biology.

Department of Pathology
Department of Pathology is an accredited medical laboratory that encompases five pathology disciplines, namely Anatomic Pathology Unit, Chemical Pathology Unit, Haematology & Transfusion Medicine Unit, Medical Genetic Pathology Unit and Forensic Pathology Unit.
We caters for both diagnostic and research service.
This laboratory is located on the first floor of the UiTM Medical Specialist Centre (UiTMMSC) Sungai Buloh Campus and on the 5th floor of the UiTM Medical Specialist Centre, UiTM Selayang Campus.

Centre for Translational Research and Epidemiology (CenTRE)
Putting Science in Action
Situated in UiTM Sungai Buloh Campus and Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah UiTM, Puncak Alam, Centre for Translational Research and Epidemiology (CenTRE) are both equipped with facilities for conducting clinical trials and epidemiology studies. Acting as a “One-Stop Centre” for clinical trials, we are supported by Pathology and Microbiology laboratories and Institute for Medical Molecular Biotechnology (IMMB). CenTRE functions as a provider of integrated clinical trial services to researchers as well as to industry.
Laboratory Animal Care Unit (LACU)
Laboratory Animal Care Unit (LACU) is a centralized animal research center for Faculty of Medicine, UiTM Sg. Buloh Campus. Since its foundation in March 2010, it has served its purposes as a centre for the exclusive use of laboratory animals in research and teaching through a proper humane care and management of laboratory animals such as rat, mice and rabbits. It main facilities include the quarantine, breeding, surgical theatre, experimental and procedure rooms, general laboratory, washing area, dry food and bedding storage, general waste, clinical waste rooms and carcass storage. Various advanced equipments are available for particular research studies for postgraduate(master and PhD) and postdoctoral studies in basic medical sciences and biomedical areas. This centre also conducts seminars and training on related areas in the care, maintenance and consultation for laboratory animals as well as offer assistance for collaborative works and attachments.
