WELCOME TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PATHOLOGY
Introduction
Department of Pathology previously was a discipline, part of the Cluster of Laboratory Medicine. This department are composed of lecturers of various subspeciality which include Anatomic Pathology, Chemical Pathology, Haematology and Medical Genetics. The members of the department is much involved with the teaching and learning of the undergraduate as well as professional masters (MPath) and Masters of Medicine in Pathology.
Apart from the academic work, the department members is also a part of the Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah(HASA) physicians that provides clinical laboratory service. The consultancy services provided also extends into the UiTM Private Specialist Centre (UiTMPSC). Research is also a big part of the activities among all the department members with many international and local grants obtained.
