Bangladesh Ministry of Health Visit

The Public Health Medicine Department was delighted to have our respectable delegates from the Ministry of Health, Bangladesh for a 2-day visit in the Faculty of Medicine, UiTM Sungai Buloh Campus.

We were delighted and felt honored to share our knowledge and experience in public health field. In this seminar entitled "Strategy to mitigate Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) burden of developing countries to provide NCD services", our department had presented four topics as followed:-

1. National Strategic Plan for Non-communicable In Malaysia (NSP-NCD)  by Associate Professor Dr Zaliha Ismail.

2. National Strategic Plan for Tobacco Control 2016-2020 by Associate Professor Dr Siti MunirahYasin

3. Strategy to Reduce Burden of NCD through Active Living by Associate Professor Dr Ahmad Taufik Jamil
4. National Strategic Plan for Cancer Control Program 2016-2020 by Dr Mohd Shahril AhmadSaman

We were grateful to participate in this knowledge exchange session, and hope together, we could contribute more to the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases.
