Curriculum & Assessment Unit

Introdution

The team is looking at strengthening the core activities in improving undergraduate programme curriculum and assessments; focusing on teaching how to teach and learning how to learn. This includes creating diffusive and integrative link between preclinical and clinical years training. Assessment is a vital part of any educational process through which the desired learning outcomes are measured. Therefore,  the design, implementation, and evaluation are thoroughly studied. The activities include organising training for the lecturers for bedside teaching (BST), Early Clinical Exposure (ECE) and Problem Based Learning (PBL) delivery, work-based assessments as well as modified long case. Future plan includes blue printing of the curriculum and a 5-10 years target to better equip graduates of 2025-2030 in critical appraisal, data processing skills and digital technology.
