Eligibility of Candidates of MBBS with Adv Med Sc
This programme is open to undergraduates who passed the Pre-Clinical Professional Examination held at the end of Year 2. Students who obtain an A grade will be offered a place in the programme. Students with a B grade are encouraged to apply. All applications will be considered and applicants will be selected based on the information provided in the application form, more specifically, the personal statement. The transcript of academic performance in the previous years of the medical course.
Academic merit - academic member of staff or a clinician who has taught and is familiar with the student can comment on the applicant's academic merit.
If appropriate, an interview is conducted. Applicants will be contacted about the interview soon after the submission deadline.
Training Institution
Students will undergo one year research-based programme at institutions of higher learning, local or abroad or both, in part.
Note: At initial stage this course will be conducted entirely in Malaysia.
